NFL Week 4 Fantasy Notes

Sunday, Sept. 30

Baltimore at Cleveland 1:00 pm Even with Boller, the Raven offense will be useful and Mason in particular looking good. For the Browns, Lewis is not an advisable play, although Edwards still is.
Chicago at Detroit 1:00 pm Griese alone won't be able to salvage the Bear O much this week, so proceed with caution with Benson and Berrian. We still maintain Johnson will be a better fantasy option than McDonald.

Green Bay at Minnesota 1:00 pm Go with Favre and his receivers, while staying away from any Vikings not named Peterson.
Houston at Atlanta 1:00 pm Even with Johnson out, Schaub will still be worth playing against his old team -- the same cannot be said for anyone on that old team.
N.Y. Jets at Buffalo 1:00 pm Jones and the Jet receivers will continue to get on track versus a horrible defense -- while nobody outside of the 2 gimme Bills are worth your time.
Oakland at Miami 1:00 pm Don't look to anybody except the RBs here.
St. Louis at Dallas 1:00 pm Leonard should be good for a TD here, but little else. Go with all of your Cowboys, but don't abandon Bulger.
Seattle at San Francisco 4:05 pm Marginal players on both sides are worth your attention in what should be a shootout.
Tampa Bay at Carolina 4:05 pm We'll keep our streak intact at 4 and urge you to start either Panther RB you own. Neither Carr nor Delhomme should be starting for your team at QB, but Garcia should -- and Williams and Galloway are nearing returns to every-week status.
Denver at Indianapolis 4:15 pm All-in, all the way around. Even with Denver's great secondary, the Colts have too many weapons for this to be anything less than a shootout.
Kansas City at San Diego 4:15 pm You simply can't bench LJ, even if his prospects seem bleak here. LT also shouldn't be a guy we have to tell you to start and this is where he starts to go off big-time. Jackson also merits consideration.
Pittsburgh at Arizona 4:15 pm Stay away from either Cardinal QB until the dust settles. Without Ward, Holmes may draw too much attention to warrant a lineup spot.
Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants 8:15 pm The Giants on national TV again? How's that keep happening? This is another go all-in shootout.

Monday, Oct. 1
New England at Cincinnati 8:30 pm See Sunday night game!

Bye: Jacksonville, New Orleans, Tennessee, Washington
